Dokha is 100% pure, additive free, natural Arabian pipe tobacco made of dried and finely cut tobacco flakes. Unlike other tobaccos, Dokha is not fire cured and cut, but dried under the sun in the heat of hot desert and finely ground in a timely delicate manner as to preserve the content of the tobacco, its strength, freshness and pure flavor. The Arabic word dokha means dizziness or buzz due to head rush while smoking. It is most smoked through of Arabian wooden pipe called medwakh.

It’s originated in Northern Iran in 15th century and spread among sailors in the Caspian Sea. Dokha tobacco was perfect way of smoking out at sea. Later on in the history this type of pipe tobacco became very popular tobacco in Ottoman Empire. Arabic pipe tobacco has been one of the most popular products for about 500 years in Middle Eastern countries. It was reportedly spread to other parts of the world via tourism, trade and immigration.

a.) Fill your Medwakh with Dokha.

b.) Breathe out first and put Medwakh on your lips.

c.) Light the bowl and inhale normally.

d.) Hold it for a few seconds, then take a second hit without exhaling the first.

e.) When you exhale, you will be experiencing the Dokha buzz!

* Maximum 3 hits only advised for experienced smokers, remember to smoke responsibly!

* Smoke Dokha only by Medwakh with attached Medwakh Filter.

* Don’t smoke Dokha with roll papers or other pipes!

* Dokha is pure organic and free of any additives, Don’t mix any additives with it!

3-5 puffs and for getting the best buzz it’s much better to inhale 3 times and keep it for few seconds.

When smoked through a Medwakh, you will get a ‘Buzz’ or a head-rush which lasts approximately 30 seconds to 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, the ‘Buzz’ dies out. It’s certainly something we would recommend if you are a smoker as the amount of tobacco inhaled is much lesser.

Medwakh is a traditional hardware used to smoke Dokha leaves, which is typically crafted of wood, metal or bone. It is relatively small with a bowl size that accommodates less than 0.1 grams of Dokha (1/10th of a cigarette tobacco) so that only a slight amount of Dokha is smoked at a time due to its highly potent and satisfying nature.

Dokha has taste same original taste of pure tobacco. Generally, Dokha has three natural main taste as: Original, Semi-Spicy and Semi-Sweet taste.

As long as person’s age is over than 21 years old, he/she is eligible to smoke it.

Generally, there are number of available Dokha strengths typically described as “hot”, “warm” or “cold”, in other words “light”, “medium” or “hot”. But in MDM there are 6 grade of Dokha available as: “Cold”, “Cool”, “Mild”, “Warm”, “Hot” and “Very Hot”.

1. Bottom leaves of Dokha plant contribute to producing basic blend

2. Middle leaves of Dokha plant contributes to producing medium quality blend

3. Top leaves of Dokha plant contributes to producing high quality premium blend

Yes, Medwakh is a special tool with standard hole and bowl size for smoking shredded Dokha leaves and a filter is required for your Medwakh. All MDM Medwakhs has an attached filter for starting. We strongly recommend using them to make it a more enjoyable and healthier experience.

There are three main types of Medwakh Filters in several length and design. Filtered by Cotton, Selicon jel, Charcoal Cotton Magnet.

MDM providing Dokha in four sizes of standard bottles.

25ml bottle: Gives about 70 scoops of standard Medwakh bowl.

50ml bottle: Gives about 140 scoops of standard Medwakh bowl.

100ml bottle: Gives about 280 scoops of standard Medwakh bowl.

250ml bottle: Gives about 700 scoops of standard Medwakh bowl.

Based on feedback and surveys held among MDM Dokha smokers, there are three type of smokers:

Regular smokers: Daily 7-8 scops. so it’s enugh for less than 20 days.

Light smokers: Daily 4-5 scops. so it’s good about 30 days.

Quitters: Daily 1-2 scops. so it’s fine for more than 60 days.

Orginal, traditional and modern blend dokha 100% are pure and free from any additives and spices. However, flavor added tobacco might not be legal in some countries around the world.

The question how it is possible to grow plants in arid areas of desert is quite logical. Specialists and local farmers of dokha plants have knowledge and techniques of how to delicately take care of high yielding tobacco plants. Growing this type of tobacco requires very close attention. The field should be cleaned of any pets or vegetation to maintain the quality of leaves while using no chemicals at all. To harvest quality, leaves of dokha requires a great amount of sun, clean and dry air that are all available in mountainous desert areas.
